1. Insert the phosphorous plate into the cassette instead of X-ray film.

2. Position the object and penetrameters same way like it is when using films.

3. Set the parameters of X-ray generator and fulfill the exposure.

4. Bring the cassette to the FOSFOMATIC.

5. Take out the phosphorous plate.

6. Insert the phosphorous plate into the FOSFOMATIC.

7. Scan, store and review the X-ray image.

FOSFOMATIC combines such properties like mobility of flexible phosphorous plates, supreme quality of X-ray film, large dynamic range, high operation rate, digital data processing and absence of expensive consumables. Wrap our flexible plates around pipes. Bend them following the shape of aircraft wing. Digital system FOSFOMATIC allows you doing this.

With high quality of the image the size of the system is small which allows its location in any mobile laboratories or repair stations. The system is extremely simple for the user.

If you are connected to Ethernet you can send the image to home or to the office. You can send the copy to the controlling units. Being in the trip you can use the laptop to review the images. You don’t need now to return back for re-take the picture. You can see the results less than in one minute. There is no need in any chemical agents for the development. There is no need in expensive film. No disorder and environmental problems related to the utilization of chemical waste. The phosphorous plate could be used tens thousand times.

The dynamic range of phosphorous plate is 10 times larger than that of X-ray film. This means that if the detail has different thicknesses and complicated shape you can take only one picture instead of 5-10, which should be done in case of X-ray film. The sensitivity of phosphorous plates is almost in 10 times higher than the sensitivity of X-ray film.
